China is very effectively derisking from supply chain dependencies on the US. The lessons were learned in Zhongnanhai - and risks are strategically monitored and reduced, so it seems.
Europe must do the same. Whether it is raw materials, digital and military sovereignty, gas or oil: calm and decisive mitigation, and then reduction of risk.
And yes - in the short term, this path is not for free.
